As all our stakeholders (clients, partners, professional workers of the institution, and all the interest groups) know, CONFIALIS was created with a business culture model based on the promotion of participation and teamwork; dialogue, credibility and confidence in both internal and external relations and the fostering of the professional development of all the staff. The values that govern our behaviour are therefore, trust, responsibility, sincerity and teamwork.

In reflecting these principles and as a means of improving the productivity and competitiveness of the company, at CONFIALIS we have implemented a Comprehensive Management System of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Actions carried out

Following an overall conception of Social Responsibility (actions that affect the social, environmental and economic dimension of the company), we have tackled the system in all its areas of administration:

  • Relations with the government agencies

As we will see below, protocols, criteria and values of ethical and socially responsible conduct have been introduced in each one of the areas of administration. These are the ones that lay down the action, and both internal and external relations in our institution.

Management of the Company.

The main actions carried out in this area are the development of the Ethical and Socially Responsible Policy of the company, the preparation of the Code of Conduct and the creation of an internal company Ethics Committee, whose main mission is to assume the responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the Ethical Management System.

Customers.

At CONFIALIS we are adopting a commitment to clarity in all aspects related to the services our company offers. This commitment takes shape in the contracts signed with each customer. Likewise, we are implementing an incidents record system, together with the regulation of the policy of gifts and customer service.

Relations with Suppliers and Sub-contractors.

The main action to be carried out in this area, on the basis of the system implemented, is promoting a socially responsible form of conduct amongst all our suppliers and sub-contractors, establishing this as one of the requirements to be taken into account when it comes to the contracting of new suppliers.

In the same way as with the customers area, the policy of gifts from suppliers is also regulated in this case.

Human Resources.

In the Human Resources area, we ensure full compliance with employment legislation, a policy of non-discrimination, particular attention to the training of all workers in those areas that require it, attention to internal communication and the working atmosphere of the company, the reconciling of working and family life.

Social Environment.

We have defined a map of all the stakeholders with the aim of measuring the impact on the same, both in terms of the company’s activities and the commitments acquired through the implementation of the management system.

On the other hand, our institution has, for some time, maintained partnership agreements with teaching and training centres in the area, with the aim of facilitating the incorporation into the labour market of recently qualified people.

Environment.

The main policy to be followed by the company is that of the saving and optimisation of resources, for example placing special care on not leaving apparatus turned on at the end of the work shift, on the printing off of documents when this is strictly necessary (aiming at zero paper use), printing on both sides, etc.

Relations with the Competition.

Although this has always been the line to be followed by CONFIALIS since its incorporation, with the aim of implementing the management system, the company reaffirms its commitment not to utilise any method of unfair trading with its competitors.

Relations with the Government Agencies.

In this final section, above all our company maintains a commitment to act in an honourable manner in the relations established with the Government Agencies and with the civil servants.
